As you all must be well aware of, there has been a lot of conflict throughout the community over the last few days. A lot of great members are leaving with many more contemplating following suit. There is a lot of anger in the air, I understand where people are coming from but enough is enough.

I am truly sad that Hazard and Tam are no longer among us. Tam was a great up-and-coming member while Hazard has long served HS well. However, they broke our rules and got punished accordingly. There was no loophole. They thought by using Skype in the manner they did would keep them safe from disciplinary action, yet they made a thread essentially linking to their "service" which might as well of been just posted here. They are gone for their actions, time to move on.

Negative has generated quiet a bit of anger and hatred over his decisions as of late. I for one am glad he checked the PM system. Would you prefer an administrator who banned on a whim, without confirmation? I sure as hell wouldn't! He used his best judgement to keep HS safe from the authorities baring down on us. We should appreciate his efforts, not scream for his blood. I highly doubt anyone is going through your private messages for no reason. If you are still uneasy, encrypt your communications.

CrazyMouse, our dear founder and administrator. I find it quiet strange that people are shifting some of the blame over to him, even though he was on leave. He has dedicated so much time and effort to maintaining this great community where most people would of abandoned ship. Would you spend $240 a month to keep a forum running, with no financial compensation? The only compensation is that warm, fuzzy feeling you get watching your 'child' grow. He did not just leave us, he appointed a new administrator to keep things running smoothly. (A damn capable individual too I might add.) Leave the man study and excel in life! HS will always be second to real life responsibilities. I know this all too well since I'm still technically on hiatus.

Carnis. I applaud you for your actions, fighting for our privacy. One day, I hope to see you join our ranks once more. You were a damn good member, an awesome mod and a great friend to all! Hopefully we will bump into each other elsewhere on the interwebz.

To all the other members who are leaving. I wish you could sort this out but I understand where you're coming from. As I said above for the others, you have all served HS well and nothing will be the same without you guys/gals! I hope to see you all back in the future. Stay calm and keep hacking!

Now to the rest of us. What actions will you take? Will you mourn the loss of our fallen brethren? Or will you stay, pushing harder than ever to make HackSociety great?

We can lie down and look back at what we once had or we can fight! We can fight for a bigger, better community! Keep posting, keep writing HQ tutorials and above all else, keep making friends! Let us remember our fallen comrades but do not falter. Will I be leaving because we hit one speed bump? No, I'll be back with a vengeance! So, who's with me? It is up to you to decide where we will be down the line.

Hey HackSociety,

First of all, excuse me for being inactive, I can't tell you I will start to get active again right now because it would be a lie.
As some of you may know, I am a student and as a student I must study a lot in order to pass the exams. But I also have to work, because as a student I also need money to live, to eat, to pay HackSociety's bills and to get drunk!
Plus, I have a family, and when I get the occasion I want to spend time with them. So yeah, this is why I have been extremely unactive recently.
Sometimes when I log on HackSociety, I see that I have received 15-20 pms, and then I just get desperate because I know it will take me quite some time to reply all of them, so I just close the page and go back to work.
I know what you think... SHAME ON ME! But guys, HackSociety is far far far away to be a lucrative website, and even if I love it running it, I must study and work to get some money

Well, I hope you will forgive me, I will try to reduce the number of PM I receive daily by making a clear signature about it!

So, anyway you succeed to get my attention more than school with this story about credit card fraud, spied PMs, doxing...
Wow, what the hell is happening!?

Yes, I have installed PM admin on HackSociety, to be able to get PMs details in case it is needed.
No, no one is spying you, and Negative isn't reading all the PMs you send.

Credit Card fraud isn't allowed at HackSociety, not because I don't want you to go in jail after having been caught stealing and using a credit card to order your iPhone on Amazon, but because I don't want to take the responsibility for you if you do dangerous/stupid stuff. If I allow this kind of discussion here there will be legal problems for me and the site will be taken down.
If you want to do it, feel free join a blackhat forum allowing it. This isn't the place to do such things. And remember that when it comes to the forum rules, everyone is equal, o matter if you have 2000 or 20000 posts.


Also, I have seen some threads with people telling they are leaving, this already happened like 1 year ago, I don't know if you remember. As I told in my last post, this is a forum, everyone is free to join and leave if they wish.
Of course I would like all of you to stay here as long as possible in order to monetize the site and run the biggest hacking forum(haha ), but if you feel like HackSociety doesn't fit your needs anymore, well... It was a pleasure to have you here for the time you have been, I wish you the best in the future, and I hope you will come back one day!


I'm not God (Btw where is he? The member "God"!), but I would with pleasure forget all this story if your guys are open to make peace. I'm not talking about "I would make peace if... because... so..." but about "Let's make peace and let's try not to be in a conflict anymore, even if you are a little bastard!"
